The challenge here was to create a mobile version design of the Scotts’ Miracle Grow website in 4 days while retaining all current functionality and basic “look and feel”.

For me, the mark of a great Ad Agency is its commitment to creative learning opportunities for its designers. During my time at HUGE Inc, one of the great ones, I was fortunate to be able to participate in "Photo Night"; one of their excellent extracurricular activities they frequently host for their designers. We were tasked with using random items found around the office to create a photography-driven creative campaign concept. I decided to tackle Employee Photos. ]]>

Back in February I was approached by the 2 guys who make up the group “Project Jenny, Project Jan” with an absolutely bonkers idea for a music video. After 4 months, 2 shoots, a few edits and hundreds of hours of After Effects compositing and rotoscoping…here we are. Without a doubt, the hardest project (and possibly the most rewarding) I’ve completed. Enjoy!

A good part of my 4 years as Art Director at Weight Watchers involved eCRM Newsletter Design. What i loved about it was the challenge of using essentially the same exact message each month to craft a communication that still feels fresh. eCRM forced me to really work my creativity while having to "color within the brand lines' so to speak; a difficult task that all Art Directors know well. Everything from pulling images to using effective color, to crafting a new newsletter experience (for example; including a recipe within the newsletter itself) was(and still is) a part of my toolbox. ]]>

For the launch of Sprayground's brand new Cope2 bag, I had the very good fortune to meet (and shoot) the legend himself. Cope2 is graffiti royalty and one of the original OG's of street art.

For the launch of Sprayground’s brand new Cope2 bag, I had the very good fortune to meet (and shoot) the legend himself. Cope2 is graffiti royalty and one of the original OG’s of street art. He took me to a part of the Bronx I had never been, where I got to see more graffiti throw-ups in one place than I’ve ever seen. Definitely a tagger’s paradise…

"Gilted" is a pilot I created for Gilt Groupe aimed at showing real people displaying (and wearing) their favorite Gilt purchases. I intended for the concept to be the adult version of a "haul video". ]]>

“Haul Video” Pilot Concept

“Gilted” is a pilot I created for Gilt Groupe aimed at showing real people displaying (and wearing) their favorite Gilt purchases. I intended for the concept to be the adult version of a “haul video”. For those that don’t know, haul videos are a mostly teen phenomenon where people display items they’ve recently purchased; including product details or even the price.

To date, more than a quarter of a million haul videos have been shared on YouTube alone; some receiving tens of millions of views. I asked around and found a couple who both love Gilt, and use them for everything. Had a blast time shooting them and love that everything unfolded organically. Definitely looking forward to shooting more fashion-related shoots in the future.
